On the day of your stereotactic breast biopsy at SMIL, you will be asked to undress from the waist up so a two-piecs outfit is recomended. You will be asked to remove any jewelry, or any items that might interfere with the stereotactic breast biopsy exam.
Women should inform their SMIL staff if there is any possibility that they are pregnant. You should not wear deodorant, powder, lotion or perfume under your arms or on your breasts on the day of the stereotactic breast biopsy exam.
