To prepare for an MRI guided breast biopsy at SMIL, you will be asked to change into a gown or robe. You will be asked to remove any piercings if possible.

Unless you have been instructed otherwise, there are no diet restrictions and you should proceed to take your medications as usual. Be sure to let your SMIL radiologist know if you have any serious health problems or allergies to medications before the MRI guided breast biopsy scan.
