Preparations- Guided Breast Biopsy

To prepare for an MRI guided breast biopsy at SMIL, you will be asked to change into a gown or robe. You will be asked to remove any piercings if possible.

Unless you have been instructed otherwise, there are no diet restrictions and you should proceed to take your medications as usual. Be sure to let your Radiologist know if you have any serious health problems or allergies to medications before the MRI guided breast biopsy scan.

Nice facility. The staff is a little slow to acknowledge customers and didn't seem to care about the customers.

I love good customer service. In fact, I can deal with personal problems much better when I have good service. From the moment I walked through the doors I was greeted warmly, and there were a ton of people. The you lady that checked me in was excellent and I hate that I forgot her name (started with a C I believe). Maria who took my blood and brought me back was so nice and pleasant and Todd, who did the MRI was, exceptional!!

I ended up at the incorrect location for an x-ray. Rather than turn me away, Mindy at the front desk was able to get me set up with my X-ray immediately and was extremely professional. Very happy with the customer service.
