Our radiologists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year at the hospital. At all of our sites, we also have access to both SMIL and hospital images through a picture archiving and communications system (PACS.)

We will provide you with the results of your patients’ tests promptly; reports are available within 24 hours or less — and urgent findings will be sent or called in to you immediately. In addition to PACS, our capabilities include the radiology information system (RIS). The RIS is a highly efficient tool that helps us manage a myriad of office tasks, including scheduling, patient and image tracking and the rapid retrieval of diagnostic reports.

With our PACS from GE, you’ll be able to log on to a secure, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)-compliant website and view the complete study, written report and key images of your patients. This anywhere, anytime access eliminates the slow pace of a film-based operation.

PACS also allows us to instantaneously retrieve previous exams and compare them with current studies, helping us track the progress of disease states and the efficacy of treatment.
