Breast Imaging
We've all heard the statistics about breast cancer. But here's one you may not know: when breast cancer is detected early, there is a 98% chance of survival. Likewise, The American Cancer Society recommends that beginning at age 40 women should schedule an annual screening mammogram (earlier if you are deemed to be of higher risk, based on family history and other factors). Not surprisingly, we here at Scottsdale Medical Imaging are passionate about early detection. Our board-certified, fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologists combine their expertise and skill with the most innovative imaging technology available including 3-D mammography to provide you with the most accurate diagnoses possible.
We operate Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence, as certified by the American College of Radiology. Our imaging technologies include 2-D digital mammography and the innovative new breast tomosynthesis (also known as the 3-D mammogram), breast ultrasound, breast biopsies and MRI, as well as the progressive PEM. Every exam is conducted by our highly-experienced, compassionate and caring team of medical professionals. And we are proud to provide our patients with the support and guidance of our certified breast patient navigator nurses. These specialty certified nurses are here to discuss any breast imaging concerns you may have, answer all questions and help you navigate the process of additional specialized appointments should they be necessary.
We encourage you to take charge of your breast health.
